			<title><![CDATA[ Hull report saturday 27th Sept. ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ Hull was good on Saturday. 11 pilots took off and 13 landed; Vince and Rich flew in from Elk. Winds were light, but launch conditions were pretty easy most of
the time. No clouds. Jon took off first a 1.20pm, sunk out a lot then climbed out in front of red spot. Conditions improved through the afternoon, - I got to
10,300ft over the top and many other pilots got to over 10K. Scot went halfway to Potter Valley but decided to return rather than sit out there for hours.

			<description><![CDATA[ I told Leo I was going to the Owens, but Nancy preferred Indian Valley and Casa Clement, so we drove there Fri 8-29 with a hang glider and a canoe. It was
<strong>hot</strong> in the central valley.

Saturday morning, we helped Dave and Dan frame in the Casa Clement Bath House. By noon, the wind had come up. We took our canoe to Butt lake, but it was too

			<description><![CDATA[ <p>I was hoping to get at least 2 days of hang gliding in over the labor day weekend.  After a good look at the weather forecast I had to settle for just one
day, Saturday.  Sunday and Monday looked like it would be too windy for mountain flying.  Even Saturday looked iffy.  The NAM forecast was for lift to only

			<description><![CDATA[ The high clouds from Saturday were gone. It was a bit windier at launch than usual so thermals were shredded early. 6 HG&#39;s flew plus Mike with his Atos.
Ryan, Jim, and Charley launched early and worked mostly on Boardman and at the house. Mike wasn&#39;t getting too high but maintained between lower and peak.
When things looked to be improving, Paul Gazis launched, then me, then Adrian. I got up immediately and joined Mike. Paul went left but then joined us later.

			<description><![CDATA[ Flew Hadleys Butte yesterday. North winds and high pressure. Climbed up over launch right away and headed for the cloudstreet on the back range. Couldn&#39;t
get to it so worked my way along the ridge to the west trying to find enough lift to get me there. It just wasn&#39;t happenin so I came back and flew to the

wife were very gracious to offer me a bed in their cabin near Indian Valley. Because of the Rich fire, there was a highway patrolman insuring that only
residents were let in. Apparently, the owner received some friction from the patrolman but eventually gained access and gave him a heads up of my arrival and I

			<description><![CDATA[ Report was that about a dozen flew Hull Sat, with several inversion layers and many short flights.

Sunday, Matt and I joined Ryan and some Berkely Club pilots. 3 of us launched from the top. Wind at the top was crossing from the northwest, light.

I got to 9000 over the top. The best lift was in a convergance area over the knob, to over 8000 feet.

About 6 flew. It was smoky to the north. The Monkey Rock fire is out, doesn&#39;t look too bad.
