The pins should be in completely and not in position to be pulled out accidently.
When repacking, gore lines and bridal lines should come out from between the rubber bands not from either side.
When properly packed one should be able to hold the 'chute by the deployment bag handle.

One of the first things I want to do as the new club Safety Officer is to make accident reporting easier. So, here is a link to the USHPA reporting form. One can either fill it out and get it to me and I'll send it in, or send it in yourself.
