I saw this a while ago, and thought it looked faked. Very little seems to get thrown out of this dust devil, it just keep on going round and round.

I don't know. I remember coming back from Dunlap and watching the HUGE dust devils in he San Joaquin valley swallowing up everything in their path. The
numbers were quite impressive as well. Fake? Look at the posts from the Hull Mt. vids. Ask Donna. Nobody fools mother nature.

If it is they sure did a good job of adding in the sounds of the tumble weeds hitting the road sign. I suppose this is a fake too...
Hay Devil By the way, I did research on this hay devil video and discovered that it was shot many years ago in the UK and the little boy in the middle is actually Leo. Or as his friends used to call him, "Little Leo". Ever since that day, Little Leo has been terrified of dust devils, hay devils, tumble weed devils and, in particular, she devils. So don't pay any attention to Leo. If I was force fed hay by a Hay Devil against my will when I was kid, I'd be terrified of a tumble week devil too. - Andy

Hay! that poor farmer is going to have to rake all that up again!
We saw all kinds of debris devils back in the midwest. There often isn't dust around irregated fields. Merry Christmas to all!!!! CW

Oh C"mon! You know anyone who can make up good CG stuff won't have any trouble putting in a sound track too!
Actually the sound they added was Andy whacking. It took 'em a while to record it, but it does happen, I know, even though none of us have seen him fly for ages.... I'm still scared of dust devils though. And once in England when I was drunking beer in a pub by a river overlooking a meadow I DID see a hay devil ... Every good wish to all my fellow fliers. I hope we get to fly together a lot more in the coming year. Leo PS. That's a wonderful vid of a hay devil, Andy. Sorry, of course I meant drinking, not drunking.
