See, this is a perfect example. No matter what is put down for options, folks will come up with yet other options. Notice that there is no voting, just
comments.
This is a good re-inforcement of what Leo's saying about "if you want it done, volunteer and get the ball rolling. |

Ernie,
You did a test poll for comedians!!! My reaction was, "What... is this a joke? Ernie must be making a joke. Why didn't Ernie just take some of the subject matters I suggested and make a real poll?" I almost left the thread before I just happened to read that it was a TEST poll. I don't know how to make a poll otherwise I would have. Why don't you set up a real poll and then come up with a subject matter headline that people will actually click on like, "Leo, your club president needs your help NOW!" Or, "Scot Huber To Reveal His Best XC Secrets". Or, if the club really is asleep "Angela Jolie Will Be At The Next Meeting". People will be attentive to what interests them. Look no further than the 843 views of Scot and Kurt's flight. - Andy |

It looks like it allows you to vote only once. (How can we game the system with that restriction?)

Why polls? Why don't we just start with a list of subjects like the one Andy started then ask people to add to it. I suggested that at the meeting. Not the
last meeting, the one before that.

Well, Albert, when someone mentioned "poll", I thought I'd remind folks of the polling feature of this BB. Technology to the rescue... of what?

Here's a Poll Question:
How many people think Andy should just invite Scot over for dinner already??!! Matt |

Because Matt, this is a technogeek thing. Inviting Scot over to spill his guts is too lo-tech. Geez!
But, it is an interesting idea if the poll thing won't work.
