I met with the new chief ranger on St Helena today. She was very friendly and open, and happy to work with us.
We can now park our vehicles in the turnout opposite the spur road that leads up the the middle towers. It's a short walk to our launch point below the towers.
This means that the "tower launch" is now relatively easy for us to access once again.
We will be using it for the St Helena Fly In.
Of course, if you need the exercise you can still carry out to the old launch...
Please note that all vehicles MUST carry a copy of our permit with them on the mountain. The rangers have to check - it's their job.
