Yeah, Ben Dunn's old wing. Took me a while to talk him out of it, but he gave me a great deal and tuned it to spec. It flies so nice. I'm bummed
I'll have a couple weeks off because it feels so right. Can't wait to take it for a spin in IV

No broken bones, a bad sprain though. Going to keep me grounded for a while. I'd planned to do Chelan in a few weeks, so likely I'll switch back to
King instead. Now that's a bright side!

Ryan,
I enjoyed the video very much. It makes me want to fly Yosemite, but alas I am but a rag winger. One question I noticed you had on low top shoes. My ankles are very bad from sprains over the years and I have found that wearing a high top -10" -boot stops or reduced the sprains. The added support helps. Thanks again for allowing me to view something I will never be able to view myself. I did get to fly Wood Rat Oregon today. Take care of those ankles. Wes |

Thanks Wes, You have no idea how much I wish I'd worn my boots (like I always do) for the same reason you mentioned, it's my Achilles as well. Some
people have to learn a lesson many times over for it to sink in I guess. I was thinking about being nimble on launch with my running shoes (better to whack
than blow that one I guess). It's never too late to take up hang-gliding
 . Hope Wood Rat treats you well. Never flown there, bring back some pics!
