But the one I just mentioned is further north. It has a paved parking lot, toilets, and it is public access. The hill is oriented facing south to south
west at the north end of the lake. It is called Etecuera creek. It is Bureau of reclamation land.
I need to speak with them about further use.
The spot is almost the same as the training hill we have at Immigrant lake at Ashland Oregon.
The other spot Gregg spoke of is on the east side of the lake about 2.5 miles down from the turn off.
I have permission from the land owner for just myself right now but I think he might be amenable to letting others fly as he is a former pilot and has a friend
who allows paragliding on their land down near Santa Barbara. The hill is only about 500-600 feet above the LZ. The lake is 445 ft and the hill is about 1050
ft with a west face.
