6/26/08 In attendance: Andy L., Andy M., Charlie W., E.C., Fred B., Reavis, Donna M., Ernie C., Justin;Karin, Elsa and Leif, Gregg H., Mike O., Jason, Jon J.,

Ernie called the meeting to order at 7:30 and announced the agenda for the evening.
First Charlie W. talked about safety issues including making sure that pilots pay close attention to the conditions prior to landing and to be prepaired for wind shifts. to then describe a down wind landing incident. Ernie described a situation at Hull where a landing was influneded by landing on the other side of the ditch.
Gail was introduced as a beginning Para glider pilot.
Up and coming events where talked about including the 4th of July weekend, St John Fly in, Hat Creek, King Mtn., and The Sky Riders event. King Mountain was talked about and the topic of 02, drivers and fishing was presented.
St John Fly in: The need for anyone to submit their ideas/ drawings for the T-shirt where made. Prizes, Food and the idea of a hunt for wild pig with a tag was talked about.
Berryessa: The LZ is appropriate for PGs but not for HGs due to the many rocks and weeds in the Lz and that we are not able to clear the lz. Another private site at Berryessa is being looked at for future potential.
Jane's BD party was relived: Pilots flew, swimmers swam and dove, an excellent BBQ potluck took place and Jane's present was broken in. A good time was had by all.
Jon J. talked about powered harnesses not being covered by insurance at a certain site and a para glider tandem towing issue.
The next meeting will be moved ahead one week due to the King Mountain Competition and will be held July 24th at the Santa Rosa Round Table Pizza.
