V.P. Donna called the meeting to order with the reminder that Ernie and Jon are at the USHPA board meeting in Tennessee. Introductions where made.
A report about the Mother Lode Sky Riders October Fest at Lake McClure was presented with three SWers flying; Scott, Gabe and Bob.
Weekend flight plans where talked about with the idea of trying Mt St Helena or Goat Rock.
The topic of flying Yosemite was introduced by Donna with an flight description of Yosemite by Mike O. preceded the need to maintain the flight privileges at Yosemite. Further discussion about the role of site monitors and more monitors might be pursued in later meetings.
The Christmas party will held December 13th at Donna and Charlie's house. The Theme of this years Party still needs to be made, the re introduction of the theme "Atmosphere".
Nominations for the next years Club Officers went as follows: All of the current officers where nominated. The current slate, present, did not decline. Nominations for Turkey and Most Improved awards need to be submitted on line or in person to the Exc. team as soon as possible. The annual trophys need to be returned by the next meeting which will be November 13th, one week early.
The Holiday trip to the LZ owners will wither be on Dec. 7th , 14th or 21st . What will work best for those that actually travel to the land owners?
