Feb. 26th Meeting Minutes: In attendance: Mike O., Greg S., Donna M., Charley W., Ernie C., Anthony A., Jon J., John D., Leo J., Kurt B., Kai B., John D.,

Leo called the meeting to order at 728 and introduceed the agenda for the evening: Sites, Elk, with a discussion about the approach to the creek lz is altered and conclusion of "don't land in the old lz instead use the thistle field lz".
Work on the website is under way with work on the site guides as happening first.
Ernie reported on the meeting with the Goat Rock people with talk of working with the Rangers to renew some rules, explore launch and landing changes.
Site Reports: St. Helena; Bud Getty has written a letter in our behalf.. Dillon Beach: John D. reported progress in that a proposal was delivered to the land owners. Drakes Bay, A site guide will be created and posted on our Web page.
Bulletin Board: Be an ambassador for our sport and club when dealing with the public, this includes postings on the the bulletin board.
Next E.C. will be at Ernies house to work on the web site.
John D. is doing a membership follow up and wants to add emergency contact phone numbers to the memebership list.
The GO FOR IT competition award rules changes where proposed by Leo : from top 10o to top5 flights, 1 has to be defined 1/3 last years total as Handicap and a Glider weighing handicap: Flex 1:1, P.G. 2:1, Ridgid 5:1. Open distance with 2 turn points, 1 1/4xx goal flight land at goal not required 2 turn points, 2x out and return (15 minutes) 2 turn points' 2 1/2 x defined out and return with 2 turnpoints' 2 1/2x. triangle with 28% rule, 3x defined triangle, Leo will post the new rules on to the website Greg S. will maintain the "Go For It" leader board.
Parachute repacking part will be a Justins house the weekend after the next with a Pot luck theme for food.
Anthony wants Sugar Loaf back on the radar.
St. John: Greg S volunteered to be the meet head for the fly in.
Yosemite: Possible dates: June 26 fri or 27 th Saturday with some ideas about lodgingh even renting a house?
